[BlindTlk] What happens to people that are born blind when they become adults? I need to be this specific.

It's a program my Sister founded back in 1980 if memory serves. Most of
the population has intellectual disabilities and the program is set so
anyone with a disability and of retirement age could enter it.
Room board social outings now the pandemic is winding down and medical
care from nurses on staff and whichever physicians normally used is what
people get for the rent paid.
Depending on availability an arts program happens regularly. A garden has
been planted out front since our cook likes making her own soups and
putting locally grown vegetables and herbs into those soups.
Our cook was born in the Philipines and spent 28 years in Italy before she
came to work for Family And Friends. In that time she learned to cook.
I am living in a house owned by Family And Friends which is also occupied
by staff that work at Family and Friends. Better internet access is
available over here and where I'm at is in an apartment separate from the
rest of the house.
A few years ago a bad snow storm happened so my sister arranged for some
of the staff to live in. When the pandemic started that live in staff
part of the operation got turned back on again. That has largely
protected Family And Friends from Covid better than many other places in
Bucks County.
Usually each month a podietrist shows up and clips toenails and cares for
client's feet.
