[BlindTlk] Decline of Hadley

kahn academy has free courses on all subjects through High School level.
The problem with higher math will be the pictures.  Kahn academy has a web
site and smart phone aps too.
One of the big problems with math I've found was use of the abacus.  The
abacus works well for what it does, but it doesn't document your work on
paper.  Learning to do math on paper gets people an easier entry into
higher math since your work is on paper in higher math.
One thing I think needs doing in higher math education for the blind is to
teach using tables and not graphs.  That is to say, what data points in a
table should be expected to produce what shape on a graph.  If the blind
can read those tables they may do away with the need for graphs and doing
so perhaps spot things in data tables quicker than those with eyes if the
detail is small enough in those tables.
