[BlindTlk] Drano and Independence

If you barely touch it to make sure it went where intended and then can move the faucet to another sink, you won’t burn your skin with it. It’s like barely touching a burner to see if it is hot. You would need to be prepared to do it immediately. I have always done that. There are also liquid drain cleaners that if you pour them down the drain, you might get a better hit. It’s kind of neat to hear it roar though.

I couldn't seem to get her to understand that there would be no way I could feel whether the dish was dirty or clean. She was more concerned about my getting dishpan hands. She finally gave up on it. >> Wear kitchen glove—the ones that are used for washing dishes. These.will protect your hands. Its caustic stuff and i have sensitive sjin so i do that. You can use a large plastic funnel if you’re worried about spilling.

>> First off ask youself what’s the reason for Drano. Most times you can fix the trouble with something less caustic. Baking soda and vinager followed by hot water for example. Second keep in mind Draino can’t be used in some places like bathtubs and toilets. There is specially formulated stuff for hair clogged drains. The company called Whink makes some great stuff. It is calledW-H-I-N-K . Pay attention there to the spelling. Most places like Home Depot, ACE Hardware all have it. I buy it at Menards here in WI. Third remember you can hear most od what’s going on. Pay attention. Fourth, before using a product get and follow directions to the Y and don’t expect it to fix the problem first pir so plan accordingly. Possible independently ways to obtain info: wensite search for product, AIRA, Seeing AI just to name a few.

>> Hope this is helpful. There’ll be more good advice coming I’m sure. Yes, all home care and repair is possible for a total!!!!
