Are you putting those Riddex tablets into the ceptic tank once a month?  That's the only ceptic thing I know about, we used to flush one down the toilet once a month.  There may be better solutions these days.  That doesn't help you right now, but doing that will help keep things clear into the tank.

I'm 99 percent sure it's a food grease / coffee ground buildup. I have a septic system.

Yes, I have used a snake.  They can be very helpful if an object went down the drain but are not necessarily going to clear a clog that is due to food or material that is not solid.  There are power snakes that might do that job.  However, if you have a recurring problem, it could be that even when the drain is clear it might be moving too slow.  Sometimes a tree root can get into a line and partly block a drain.  Only a plumber is going to be able to clear something like that.  It would help if you would describe the problem you are trying to solve.

Like both Judy and Cindy, I have occasionally gotten a little Drano on a finger and not had a problem if I rinsed it off right away.  This is not a recommendation to put it on one's skin as Don stated, but making sure you could rinse it off immediately is going to avoid most problems.
