I love those tips as they’re grate for using your cane in the snow. I need a new one but not sure where the one that I had ended up, hopefully I can find one somewhere.

So do I.  I have a ball tip, the big one that’s about the size of a tennis ball, and so I just merrily roll along!  (smile)  I used to tap before I had a rolling tip.  I got my first rolling tip in about 1996.  Pam.

Yes, I also use the sweep metthod instead of the tapping method, as you catch much more of the ground in front of you. The tapping method seems like it could be more dangerous, hypothetically, as you're missing the ground in front of you during the sweeps when your cane is in the air.

Since we talked about canes yesterday, I wanted to ask:
1.            Do you use a folded cane?
2.            Yes. I do.
Do you tap your   cane your  from side-to-side?
3.            No I don't. I just drag my cane. So there's the possibility I'll
injure myself.  I'm one of those blind person's who doesn't walk in a
straight line  and I may get off track.
4.            What about you
5.            P.s. Sorry for the errors. I'm not a pro at using technology and
jaws. So the numbers are still appearing in the message.
