[BlindTlk] Using your cane

I use a telescoping cane. I have a folding cane as a back up, but this is only as a back up. I sweep my cane from side to side as I feel the tapping method is somewhat dangerous like someone else said because when the cane is in the air that means some ground could be missed. I have a tendency to not go in a straight line either, and so it’s very important for me to have constant feedback for my cane on the ground in front of me.
