I think it is important to point out jaws had problems with video
sensitivity in the past. Depending on what version of jaws is in use
those video sensitivity problems could still be current for users using
outdated versions of jaws.
I had the video sensitivity problem with jaws twice. First when I tried
to buy a version I could run on my home computer then later at work which
I already described. That's why I bought an early version of Window-eyes
for use on my home computer. That version worked. Even a jaws patch disk
didn't help on the home computer when the demo was patched and fs couldn't
help after that so that's how Window-eyes got purchased. The problem with
all of these high dollar screen readers is really narrow upgrade windows
where users can take advantage of a discounted price. If the money isn't
in the bank account for the time that window is open, we end up paying the
higher prices for upgrades.
