Hello all, just because it's white cane day this Saturday, October 15, 
it doesn't mean that guide dog users can't get together and have some 
social time to discuss guide dog topics or whatever else comes to mind. 
Following is an announcement from the NAGDU secretary. We hope you will 
come join other guide dog users tomorrow at 3 PM Eastern time on Zoom.

Greetings from NAGDU,


We hope this email finds everyone doing well and continuing to stay 
safe. For those who are welcoming in the Fall season, Please feel free 
to send some cooler temps this way. If you are someone who pays 
attention to dates, you will notice that this weeks Yappy Hour takes 
place on the official White Cane Safety Day. please share this 
announcement wherever appropriate.

The National Association of Guide Dog Users would like to invite you to 
our next Yappy hour. The Yappy hour is a virtual social gathering to 
socialize and have a good time.


Everyone is welcome whether you are a current or former guide dog user, 
thinking about becoming a guide dog user, are a puppy raiser or trainer, 
are friends with other guide dog users, puppy raisers, or trainers, or 
simply think that guide dog users are cool.


This informal meeting takes place every two weeks unless otherwise 
noted. By informal, we truly mean it. While serious topics about guide 
dog users may come up from time to time, we will not be holding any 
NAGDU or NFB business during this meeting. The meeting information is as 
follows.


Date: Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Time: 3 PM Eastern. (This calculates as 2 PM Central, 1 PM Mountain, 12 
noon Pacific, and 11 AM Alaska.)
