 I'm not sure if this works on mobile devices. But with JAWS on a computer, you can make a custom label for a poorly written control. You use CTRL, Insert and Tab and write the label you want. You can also tell JAWS what you want brailled on the braille display.

Made an account and logged in for a while.
Edit fields didn't announce themselves as edit fields.
Then the app got rewritten.  I was unable to log in again so deleted the
app.  This may be a promising twitter competitor if it can ever get its
accessibility act cleaned up.
If anyone else is interested please try trible with text recognition
turned on and maybe let the list know if you had have any better luck than
I had.
