AppleVis Launches Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card; Participate in Our' Survey That Will Determine the Report Card Ratings

Hello from the team at AppleVis.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card and invite you to participate in the survey that will determine the report card ratings. <https://www.applevis.com/blog/applevis-launches-apple-vision-accessibility-report-card-participate-our-survey-will-determine>

The aim of this survey is to gather valuable feedback from those who depend on VoiceOver, braille support, or the low vision features available on Apple devices. The survey asks you to rate these accessibility features across Apple?s various platforms and your experience of using Apple software on a scale of 1 to 5, and optionally provide additional written comments. We also invite you to rate and comment on new vision accessibility features introduced in 2022, as well as Apple?s performance in addressing vision-related bugs over the past year. Finally, we encourage you to share your suggestions on how Apple can enhance their vision accessibility features and user experience, and better serve the needs of their visually impaired customers.

Your participation and responses will enable us to identify areas where our community believes Apple is excelling or where improvements can be made, and hopefully, influence Apple?s roadmap for the coming year.

We will release the report card, showing the rating for each question along with a curated selection of comments submitted by participants, As soon as possible after the survey closes. The report card will provide a clear and concise summary of the results, highlighting key insights from the feedback we receive. We look forward to sharing the results with the community and hope that it will contribute to a constructive conversation about the current accessibility and experience of using Apple devices for blind and low vision users

Before submitting a survey response, we kindly request that people consider the following:

1.	When submitting ratings and comments, please only provide responses for questions where you have personal experience with the accessibility feature and platform in question. For example, if you exclusively use VoiceOver on an iPhone but do not use any of the low vision accessibility features on Apple?s platforms, we ask that you please only submit answers for the questions relating to VoiceOver and the platforms that you use. This will help ensure that the survey results accurately reflect the views and lived experiences of real end users.
2.	In this survey and our report card, ?vision accessibility features? refers to the available functionalities and capabilities of the software, while ?user experience? refers to your overall user satisfaction with and ease-of-use of the software.
3.	In one question, we ask about the new accessibility features introduced in 2022. To help you answer this question, we recommend taking a look at the preview of these features. <https://www.applevis.com/blog/apple-previews-new-accessibility-features-coming-later-year-including-door-detection-more>
4.	Before submitting the survey, please take a moment to carefully review your ratings and comments to ensure that they are a fair and accurate representation of your experience and opinions. By providing thoughtful and well-considered feedback, you can help ensure that the survey results are meaningful and constructive.
5.	By completing this survey, you grant AppleVis permission to feature any of your comments in its Apple Vision Accessibility Report Card. You can opt to be attributed by your AppleVis account display name or quoted anonymously."

The survey will close on February 26, 2023, at 20:00 UTC. To view and complete the survey on this page, <https://www.applevis.com/blog/applevis-launches-apple-vision-accessibility-report-card-participate-our-survey-will-determine> you will need to be logged in to the AppleVis website.
