No, thank you, this isn't for diabetes, mainly for keeping track of carbs.

Of course, one could always build a list and refer back to it, but I saw a lady on a Youtube check her carbs with either a beeping digital app or a stand-alone indicator device.

Hi Judy,
If you're asking for the number for disabes there's an app out there that helps individuals with blindness with their disabetes. I can't tell you exactly what this app does. A few years ago I met a lady who had just loss here sight. She was also diabetic and was using this app.
