[BlindTlk] Skechers..

Although I have Sketchers and like them, there are several things one should know. First, there are different styles of sketchers. I have one pair, for example, that have laces and are not intended to be hands-free. Depending upon the style, some will be easier to put on hands free than others.

Second, they are a fairly casual shoe. There may be occasions where they are not the best shoe to wear. Again, though, the style one chooses may affect this some.

Finally, I know there are many physical reasons that might cause one to have difficulty putting on shoes. I hate, though, to see blindness with no other explanation used as a reason to buy hands-free or slip-on shoes. There are times when it can be a disadvantage to wear shoes that can slip on and then slip off too easily.

Best regards,

Steve Jacobson

It shouldn't be necessary to pull on sketchers at all. I put them on standing up and take them off the same way. Best put a hand on a wallor two when doing this though or hold onto a bureau for balance.
