[BlindTlk] from verizon-fios to directv

An android tv moved.
Now set up on directv and I notice one difference in accessibility
performance.
Changing channels on verizon-fios got announced.  With directv no
announcements it's actually silent.
I don't know if a setting on the cable box needs changing to get channels
announced or if there is no change possible.
The channel announcements were the only good thing about verizon-fios.
The internet service couldn't deliver clean files that passed
verification.
The internet service here is pennsylvania telnet and is no better than
verizon-fios.  Email works but verifiable files cannot be downloaded.
Some "services" are actively blocking torrent traffic and unfortunately on
many of them torrent traffic is the only way possible to get verifiable
files downloaded.
