Hi, Mark,

What I think is happening is that Facebook is wanting you to verify. They are either sending you a notification on another device, an e-mail for confirmation, or in your messages. They need you to verify in some way.

Suddenly Facebook is demanding that I need to write in my password to log in.  Unfortunately, I have forgotten it.  It tells me to go to Facebook.com to set up a new password.  I do that and I'm still in that same loop, not getting any signal that I can type in a password and getting the same instructions that don't work.  I will thank you in advance.
