My Husband, WI9HF and I, Katie nine VBX are up at Handiham‘s camp right now. It’s a one week camp Thursday to Thursday in Minnesota where it’s interacting and getting tips from each other plus learning and practicing skills. Apparently some years they have not had testing but this year they offered testing and I got my general. Chad and I are very grateful we came. Today is our last day here but it’s more like coming and visiting Family. There is a scholarship to make attendance at financially possible. There are people here from all over the United States and wonderful Christophe from Munich Germany. I just want to also let people know that it’s not just for blind people. They’re always looking for excited Ham Radio‘s to help at camp with some things and they welcome people with all disabilities like Siri ABLE palsy, autism wheelchair, bound, and everything else. The more the merrier! Sorry for the shameless plug for Handiham camp but now that I’ve been here I can speak to. It’s wonderful time.
