[BlindTlk] Flying to Fresno - Sighted Guide, Rideshare, Luggage & Hotel Accessibility

Hello everyone,
I'm planning a trip to Fresno, California soon and would really appreciate
any advice.
I will be requesting sighted guide assistance only (not wheelchair
assistance). If I book my ticket through InnoSearch, is the best approach to
contact the airline directly afterward with my confirmation number to add
sighted guide assistance to the reservation? I want to make sure that is
properly arranged in advance.
For those who have flown into Fresno Yosemite International, do you have
tips for getting from the gate to the Uber/Lyft rideshare pickup area? Is
sighted guide assistance typically provided all the way to the designated
pickup zone?
For context, I use an iPhone with VoiceOver and also have Meta Ray-Ban smart
glasses available if needed. If you have suggestions on how to best leverage
those tools while navigating the airport or locating rideshare vehicles, I'd
love to hear them.
I've also heard some discussion about airlines restricting AirTags. If that
becomes an issue, what are your preferred strategies for clearly labeling
checked luggage so that you can confidently identify your suitcase at
baggage claim? Are there tactile methods or other approaches that work well?
Lastly, if anyone has recommendations for accessible hotels in the Fresno or
Clovis area-especially regarding elevator access (key card-activated
elevators) and general room navigation-I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for any insight you can share.
Best,
Shai
