Hello Mark and Dave,
I am also type two and do not take insulin.
I pushed my doctors hard to write a letter to state that I need to know what my numbers are on a daily basis. It is difficult to getting up blood on a strip as a blind person, and therefore that was a justification I now use the Dexcom G7 and it is wonderful.
