Hi, Madison, expounding a little more now.
I'm happy to tell you this is an easy one.
First, when checking your hair, get all the slippery out. As your rinsing your hair, wringing it out as you rinse will help a lot.
Even if you feel no slippery, if you still hear some of the tiny soap bubbles when you run your hands through it or wring it out, give it another pass under the shower faucet.
I had long, blond hair as a child, when I first started washing my own hair, lots of it, but very fine, so I know what you are talking about. I always wanted thick hair like yours sounds. (smiles)
Everyone, sighted or blind, is going to miss spots from time to time, no worries.

Subject: [blind-know-how] tips for knowing if I've gotten all of the shampoo out
Hi all,
I have long thick straight hair and I've had to change shampoos because they don't seem to make the one that I'd been using for a long time and I'm finding that I'm having trouble knowing whether or not I've gotten it all out of my hair so I'm finding that my showers are probably taking longer then they should because I'm unsure as to whether or not I've gotten all of the shampoo out. So other then getting sighted help every time I shower how else can I figure out whether or not I've gotten all of the shampoo out? Thanks for any tips anyone can provide me and I look forward to reading whatever you have to say!!
Madison
