Subject: [BlindTlk] Voice actors with visual impairment

Hello BlindTalk colleagues,
I am a teacher of students with visual impairments working with a middle school student who will be transitioning to high school soon. The student is visually impaired and is in the very early stages of exploring an interest in voice acting as a possible career path.
I'm reaching out to see whether there are any voice actors on this list who are blind or visually impaired and might be willing to connect with me. The hope would be to give the student an opportunity to ask a few questions and learn more about what the field looks like, training pathways, and how visual impairment fits into this profession.
If you're open to connecting, or if you know of someone who might be a good resource, I'd greatly appreciate hearing from you. I'm happy to follow up privately and coordinate in a way that feels comfortable for everyone involved.
Thank you in advance, and I appreciate the collective wisdom of this community.
Best regards,
Shai
