Oh Mark, I am so very sorry for your loss. Sending you so much love and strength. I can totally relate, as my father passed away about two months ago and most days it’s nearly impossible to function as a result. Even though they were struggling and we wanted them to not  be in pain anymore, the loss still hits incredibly hard. What helped me most was when people reached out and carried me in my grief, even if it just meant sending a simple note to say they were thinking of us. It also helped a great deal when people wanted to hear stories. But everyone is different, so please let us know how to hold you up in this impossible time. If there’s anything I can do, please reach out.
