[blparent] Question about adopting

Thanks Steve for all your help and advice. My husband and I discussed these
things and feel much more confident to answer any questions she might throw
our way. Many of your suggestions we had started doing even before we joined
this list so it was very encouraging for us. I guess sometimes you need to
hear it from others to give you the confidence you need. It's neat we
already have some books and a talking thermometer. It kind of sucked because
our first visit she hadn't even read our autobiographies yet and that would
have answered at least the experience issues. She said she was going to call
our references which thrilled me because they are excellent and one of them
was from the parents of the autistic boy I use to babysit when he was 2. I
hope she really does call them that would be great. This list has been very
helpful to me thank you all and I will keep you posted on our progress. I
can't remember who it was but, who ever said they would be praying for us
thank you so much and keep on praying that God will give us wisdom in
answering all her questions properly and with confidence. thanks guys.
