Hi,

I just had my six week check up yesterday and everything is going well.  I 
have lost all the weight I gained with Remus, 22 pounds, and a little more 
besides, and despite breast feeding difficulties in the beginning that 
caused Remus to lose a bit of weight, he's gained it all back and now weighs 
9 pounds 8 ounces.  We've even got him skipping a feed at night and sleeping 
for 5 to 6 hours which is nice because we can get some extra sleep too.  As 
for me, I feel pretty good aside from still being a little sore where I tore 
and my stitches haven't totally desolved yet.  Remus is starting to spend 
more time awake looking around and smiling although I'm not sure whether 
it's just gass still or if he's really happy about something.  He is 
starting to put his hands up when he wants you to pick him up, and he makes 
little noises that I wish I could get recorded, but every time I try he 
doesn't make them.  He's really such a good baby, he only cries when he's 
hungry or he has gas, and he only has one fussy period during the day and 
usually a bath settles him again.  It's funny how I spent most of my 
pregnancy wishing time would hurry up and now I wish it would slow down.  I 
can't believe it's been 6 weeks already.
