EWTN has some really good shows.  The prob with them is they are on at a really strange time, 2 to 3 in the pm.  I don't know about other children, but unless it is summer, mine is in school at this time.  They are broadcasted out of Alabama and I am sure kids are in school there as well. V

I'd say that good programming for kids maybe 8 to maybe 14 is the hardest.  I love the shows for preschoolers, and know it will be harder to find nonviolent appropriate things for my son to watch as he gets older.  PBS does have some educational and fun stuff I've heard, but I know that a lot of things are very violent for the older age group.  At least from what I've seen.  Grant it, I haven't looked really hard for good stuff since my son is only two and a half, but my sister, who has older kids, and I have talked about this a lot.

What exactly do you disapprove of in TV for kids?  I’m just curious, if you would like I can give a few examples of good kid’s programming.
