Hi,

What I do is only give the baby solids once a day and make sure to feed 
something like cerial that make them thirsty.  Combine feeding solids and 
nursing.  For example, feed a few spoonfuls of serial or vegies, and then 
switch to nursing.  Remember that you're not feeding solids for their 
nutrients right now, it's more an experimental thing for the baby.  Don't 
replace a nursing session with a meal of solids, or you may start producing 
less milk.
