Hi,

Yes, but an ipod will play more formats then the stream will, and the stream 
cost more then an ipod.  Plus, the stream will only play in mono, doesn't 
have a very good speaker unless you buy one on top of what you already pay 
for the stream itself, and doesn't have the versitility of an ipod.
