I recommend you go to an Apple retailer, like Best Buy, that usually has
Ipods and such on display for you to put your hands on. Ipods can play a
lot of formats, I am guessing the only formats it can not play, that the VS
can, are the NLS books, and daisy books. Myself, I went with the VS because
I didn't need all the extra stuff the Ipods can do, and I wanted to be able
to listen to NLS books. Depending on the Ipod you go with, they can start
out at over $200.00. You can also go to the Apple online store to get an
idea of what the different Ipods can do and their cost.

Hmmm, will the IPOD play as many formats as the stream or will it play
different ones?
What about an MP3 player? I can make cd's into mp3's, could I then play them
on an ipod?
In terms of accessability, sounds like I want real cheap or real expensive.
That about right?

Hi,

Yes, but an ipod will play more formats then the stream will, and the stream
cost more then an ipod. Plus, the stream will only play in mono, doesn't
have a very good speaker unless you buy one on top of what you already pay
for the stream itself, and doesn't have the versitility of an ipod.
