My niece is 21 months and I bought her books from
 Seedlings Braille books for children. These are board books she can chew on 
and toss around that have Braille so I can read them. They also have 
pictures so she can see them and print so her parents who are sighted can 
read to her. She also likes push toys likes strollers and slides. Her 
grandma got her a little play roller coaster.
