Exactly. 
I asked my dad once if it was hard being a parent after I'd been
baby-sitting for a day. I was so unbelievably tired and he told me that
as a parent, you grow into it. I didn't really understand this until I
had my daughter. Aileen's post on this was excellent as well, the one
about finding a rythom and balance. You'll get figured out. Just use
your head and common sense.

Leslie, by the time your son is walking, you will have learned a great
deal 
about his habits and personality and will have a better idea of how to
