Both NFB and Hadley do Braille letters from Santa if a child writes to them.
The letters from the kids can be written in print or Braille. I think the
letter back from Santa is in both. I've never done this but I think it
sounds cool. I was gonna have my little guy write a print letter to Santa
and get a Braille one back. He's sighted, but he loves all things Braille.
However, I never got him to sit down and write any kind of letter to Santa,
print braille or otherwise. But some of you may wanna try one of these
programs. I suspect they're still accepting letters. NFB's number is
410-659-9314 if someone wants to learn more about the program. I know
Hadley does a Braille letter program too but I don't have their contact
info.
Just a random FYI for you all.
