[blparent] Remus is here, finally

Hi,

Thanks, I'll do that. We have a doctor's appointment this afternoon which I
hope will show Remus gaining weight. We found out yesterday that he's a bit
jaundiced, and I'm having trouble latching him on to breast feed him, so I'm
very worried he's lost more weight. We've been giving him bottles that I've
pumped, and he's drinking okay, but he did go from 9 pounds 4 ounces to 8
pounds ten in the hospital. I had a health nurse come out to help me with
latching him, and I am following her advice, but it's not working all the
time for some reason. He seems to latch on okay sometimes, and then other
times he'll latch on for three seconds and pull off again. It's so
frustrating not to be able to feed him, and I absolutely refuse to put him
on formula unless medically necessary. It's times like these when I just
feel inadequate. Sorry for the long ramble!

Tammy
