[blparent] Questions about purchasing baby items

Hi, Angelina. You must be getting really excited as the time for your baby
to be born gets nearer.

My best advice is, keep it simple. I didn't really worry about a theme for
the baby's room because I'd been given a lot of things secondhand, and
believe me, accept those gifts. Babies grow out of clothes and equipment so
quickly, it doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money on everything. And
keep it simple, because soon enough your baby will be mobile and curious,
and then more often than not, the room will look like a miniature hurricane
hit it, and you'll be picking up all those cute little things you had to
have off the floor.

Good luck,
Jo Elizabeth

It is easy--terribly easy--to shake a man's faith in himself. To take
advantage of that to break a man's spirit is devil's work. Take care of what
you are doing. Take care.--George Bernard Shaw in "Candide"
