[blparent] bottle woes.

Oh, and to test for leaks, tilt the bottle over the sink at the same
angle you'd use to serve to baby.
Evenflo also makes nice bottles.
Again, this is my preference and my mode, others will have different
ones.

Gerber makes nice bottles.
Something else to keep in mind is nipple sizing and the speed of the
flow.
You have newborn which goes from 0-3 months, medium which goes from 3 to
6 months, and then a size bigger which goes from 6 months on up.
As with all things, your baby will let you know when they're not happy,
it's their job to tell you, and yours to listen.
Pour over the sink.
I always wash and dry bottles in the dishwasher, drying with the heat
on. It's a dishwasher setting.
I've also hand washed and dried bottles when our dishwasher broke.
I never boiled them, I was told the dishwasher would be fine, and when I
couldn't use ours, it didn't occurr to me to boil them I also think
babies are more robust then we realize. Look at what they put into their
mouths or try to.
Best advice I have is to go to a store, ask to get your hands on bottles
and go from there.
Aside from that, love and enjoy your baby. The rest will sort itself
out.

It's interesting how we all are so very different. My 2 used different
bottles and those Doctor Brown ones always leaked on me. But I'm not
sure I was getting them sealed right, either. Had no trouble out of the
nursers like I thought I would. Have more trouble pouring formula into
the even floe's tiny tops.
