Hi,

I agree with that, but sometimes listening to a tape or book on tape is as 
much fun as reading yourself, and can be as educational because you're 
hearing how people put words together and different voices and expressions 
too.  It will add to a child's vocabulary as well.  Colyn doesn't know how 
to spell yet, but he sure knows some impressive words.  He'll learn how to 
spell them eventually.
