[blparent] blparent Digest, Vol 62, Issue 19 in response to questions about books

Hello list,

I am new to the list, but would like to provide some helpful suggestions. At least I hope they are helpful!

There are places and I believe most local NLS libraries will take books brought in and format them into an accessible form.

Also, seedlings books offers an array of titles for all ages and they are relatively inexpensive.

Lastly, my Chapter has an extension we call the Braille Circle and though we are small right now we can provide a service where we can Braille books for smaller children. If any are interested this is a possibility. The contact info is as follows:

rpollpeter at hotmail.com

send emails to Ross, my husband, who is in charge of the Braille Circle.

I hope this was helpful and good luck to all!
