[blparent] something comical

Oh don't I know that feeling. A few years ago we went to Danmark and
England. Everywhere we went they wanted to pick up the end of my cane to
help me. (lol) In Danmark it was almost impossible to walk around, they have
cobble stone streets and walk ways and my tip stuck in almost every one of
them. I was tempted to carry around a little hammer to dislodge it. V

When we were in Beijing four years ago, I lost my cane tip. Luckily we
hadn't walked far from the restaurant before I noticed. They had found it
and gave it to us right away when we showed them. They probably thought it
was a strange thing. This is the same place that tried to put a bib on me
when we sat down for supper, and only filled my glass of water half full
every time. Sure is an eye opener to travel abroad.

If wisdom's ways you wisely seek, five things observe with care: of whom
you speak, to whom you speak, and how and when and where.
