No question is stupid except the one that is never asked. When changing 
diapers I make sure to wipe the whole area thoroughly first with a wipe, or 
several wipes if the baby was particularly messy. After that, I use my hands 
to check and make sure the baby is clean. Where I find stickiness, I wipe 
again. Both hands and babies wash, so it is not the end of the world to get 
our hands sticky. Even sighted parents have to wash their hands after 
diapering a baby, girl or boy.
