Something that I found that works miracles is called Zout. It is a prewash
and is made by Oxyclean. It will take any stain out except paint. We swear
by it in this house. V

Charlie's Soap is not a miracle product, but it does work well. If you have
tough stains, just like any other detergent, you will need to pretreat them,
or add a scoop of oxyclean to your load.
We bought a 5 gallon bucket of it, and have about 1 and 1/2 gallons left
after 18 months or so. It does come out les expensive then using other
detergents.
One major complaint of the soap is people get red itchy skin when they first
try it. To avoid this, you need to wash everything twice, at least with the
Charlie's soap. It gets the residue of your other soap out of your clothes,
and it is that residue that causes the red and itchiness.
Taylor, one of the owners usually answers the phone, so if you give him a
call, he can answer any question you have, and then some.

I've heard of it, but haven't tried it. Does it take stains out well? I
use oxy clean and Tide because it always takes tuff stains out for me, so
I'm hesitant to switch.
