So this was suppose to be the best convention ever  for Gabriella.  She has
never been to our state convention before since it happens during the school
year.  Well this was this weekend and school ended Thursday.  So Gab and I
packed our suitcases and my hubby took us to the Hyatt Regency downtown
Albuquerque.  Before we went to the hotel we stopped off to see Gab's Dr.
She said Gab had a sinus infection and prescribed antibiotics.  That was the
beginning of this perfect weekend.  Gab and I ordered room service and she
slept through it, she had what seemed to be a slight fever.  She woke up
Friday morning and was warm.  We went to breakfast and she threw up in the
doorway of the restaurant.  We called my hubby and he came back to get her
18 miles from home.
She had 102.7 by the time they got back home.  He slaved over my poor
darling.  
I stayed at convention and had a good time, though worried about her.
I told her there's always nexttime.  My poor darling must have called me
about 50 times to beg me to come home.  I stayed and I don't feel bad.
Dad's need to  experience illness as well as mom's. One of the biggest
reasons I stayed is that invited friends to join me who are not NFBers and I
felt bad uninviting them and we also were helping out with the auction after
the banquet. 
She is all better now- sunday and is sitting with me watching Snoopy, a
musical.
