[blparent] baby monitor

I can hear her cry, play, talk, move around...  It's very sensitive so it 
will pick up every little noise.  Companies pride themselves on the 
sensitivity of their baby monitor.  I had the window open in the girls' 
room, and I could hear the dog barking next door as if it was in the same 
room as the monitor.
When my kids were tiny I would have it very close to the crib, so I could 
hear if they choked or spit up...  That's just my comfort level.  You don't 
ever want it in the crib though for safety reasons.
