Dear Mike,
Welcome to the list and congratulations.
As I always mention when a new member joins, I teach a Parenting series with
the Hadley School for the Blind. One of our courses is Preparation for
expectant parents. Although the text is written pretty much for moms, I've
had a few dads to enroll recently and am really glad to see that. This is
just one more resource for you. It is free, the book is available in Braille
or audio format, and assignments which are required for the course can be
emailed. If you have been a student of Hadley before, you can simply contact
Student Services at 800-323-4238 and ask to enroll or ask for enrollment
information if you have never been a student of ours. We have three courses
in this series-Preparation, Infancy and Early Years. I would encourage you
to consider this added resource. Feel free to contact me at
howerton at hadley.edu
