They put this jell on your belly and then, they rub this wand all over it so
they can pick up images via sound waves.  It doesn't hurt but it did feel
uncomfortable lying flat on my back the whole time.  I guess that's par for
the course.  I'm amazed at the images they can capture and the technician
was very good about being descriptive so I knew what was going on to.  My
husband was with me so he got to see everything on the ultrasound.
