[blparent] Halloween

I liked hearing about the different costumes and traditions. Our son is
going to be a guerilla. His costume consists of a black shirt with a furry
chest, big guerilla hand gloves, and a mask that goes completely over his
head, with the mask part being in front and the furry part in the back. He
will also be wearing black pants and dark shoes and socks. He is just
elated that by the end of Halloween, he will have had four opportunities to
wear his costume.
One of our traditions is to buy a pumpkin for carving a jack o'lantern
and roasting seeds. Benjamin also goes to a Halloween thing at the library
and has a party at school and his kids' activity at church on Friday nights.
Since our part of town has very few houses and is always bustling with
activity, the kids go trick-or-treating to all of the little stores. I must
admit that this gives me greater peace of mind.
