Hello Vanessa:

     I suggest you find your local NFB chapter and see if there are any 
blind parents. This would be a good way to learn the skills you will need to

care for a baby. Also if you have friends who have babies, ask them to let 
you see how they care for their children. In my opinion, this knowledge is 
probably best learned hands-on. What state do you live in?
