It really depends on the baby. You might want to consider reading some basic 
books about child care. a lot of your questions are those that any new 
parent would have - blind or sighted - and a lot of "intro to parenting" 
type books cover that stuff. Also, Hadley has a series of parenting/child 
development classes, so that might be another great option for you.
