[blparent] have a question

Vanessa, having your water break is just like having a gush of water pour
out of you; it just happens or did as soon as I got to the hospital to have
my second son. It's warm-body temperature-and not a huge amount but a
definite amount. Contractions are interesting. I thought they would hurt
your stomach, but actually mine were in my back and were a pain like none
other. They are very regular; it is amazing. They can start and then if you
time them, you'll notice they occur at certain intervals-5 minutes apart,
etc. My older son was induced so I didn't deal with that for him, but with
the younger one I did. So I would try to get ready to go to the hospital
between contractions. Sometimes a mom can have premature contractions, and
then you need to let your doctor know.
