Denny,

I think we work at the same location (and have chatted via phone before). I
can't imagine having twins but my husbandn and I have two children a four
year old girl named Lucy and a seven month old boy named Owen. Feel free to
email me at work or home with any questions about being a blind parent and
I'll try to give my suggestions! Good luck and congratulations, girls so
are so fun!

Jessica

Hello,

I thought it would be good to introduce myself to the group. In 2001
I lost my sight to an immune disorder. The past 9 years have been
spent going through blindness training, getting my guidedog, getting a
BS in Computer Science, and getting a job here in the Twin Cities. In
2008 I met my wife and we got married this past September. My wife is
a Physical Therapist while I am a Computer Programmer. We bought a
house in Eagan last year. Now we have found out that we are expecting
twin Girls at the end of December.

I've signed up for this group to get ideas and suggestions for how to
deal with being a blind parent of twins. I still need to go through
and read the archived messages from this group, but any advice would
be great. Right now I am mostly looking for any suggestions for how
to deal with the rest of the pregnancy to things I should be putting
into place before the babies are born.

Thank you,

Denny
