Rhonda, how old is your son? My daughter is going to be 11 in October.  I
know a lot of blind parents who have raised sighted children.  One of those
parents I know personally  is Fred and Cathy Schroeder.  He was the Director
of the NM commission for the blind many years ago, then he went to be the
head of Rehabilitation Programs for the President and now he does some kind
of research for the University of Virginia.  He and his wife are both blind
and their children are all grown up and either in college or married. V
