When we rode a train this summer, these are some of the things I discovered.
The diningcar is noisey, clanking silverware, the smell of food eminating
through the car and lots of people talking about the food being served.  The
observation car was very quiet, lots of people talking in low tones but if
you stopped to listen people were describing what they saw out the windows.
As for the bathrooms, they are on the level below the passenger areas.  The
bathrooms have an unique odor.  They are found at the end of the stairs.
The conductor told me to follow the long hall.  He said I would feel handles
on the right side of the wall.  He said the first door was a closet for
changing and the next two handles were the restrooms.  He was right.
The snack car is below the dining car and that's where you find the steps
going down.  When I got to the bottom of the steps, you can smell the foods
being warmed and of course, lots of voices ordering.
As for finding my seat.  I quickly learned from the conductor that my seat
was 3 rows back from the slidingdoor.  So I just counted seats. V

Hi everyone.

 

A friend asked me this question, and since I, nore my husband are total,
I'll ask you guys.

 

She wants to know when traveling via Train, how do you know when you get up
to to the lounge cat, dinor car, bathroom etc.

How do you know that you are at your approtiate seet.
