Hi,

Sounds like he's having night terrors, which are very common for a child of 
his age.  Remus is 18 months and has them and Colyn had them when he was 
little as well.  They're nothing to do with what they see or hear on tv or 
in other places, and there's really nothing you can do about them.  Don't 
wake him up if you can help it, just listen and go in to his room and 
comfort him if he cries for more than 5 or so minutes and doesn't seem like 
he's going back to sleep.
