lol  Too funny!  What are you supposed to be grounding him from?  He's 2! 
Your friend seriously said that?  How ridiculous!  Tell him how great he 
writes, and then show him how much better it would be if he wrote on the 
paper because you can hang it up after he's done.  My fridge is full of my 
kids art, and they're super proud of themselves when they see it up there, 
and they have to show everybody who comes in our house what they made.
